Introduction

CIO Maker School makes technical stuff easy and fun for students 7-12 years old! CIO’s teaching method is based on the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) approach. We focus on helping students solve problems and learn through project work.

The CIO teaching team is a group of optimistic, empathetic and passionate professionals who specialize in “digital maker” education for children. The goal of CIO (Creativity and Innovation Optimist) is to provide educational projects that benefit society and the environment. Through "design thinking", "hands-on activities" and "experience sharing," everyone can realize their potential to design, and create original solutions to build a better world.

Sanheyuan have structures on three sides of a courtyard, forming an inverted U-shape, resembling the Chinese character Chinese: 凹 (āo).

In Taiwan and in many Asian countries, street / night market vendors sell not only food & drink but also other goods via vendor carts (攤販車). In this camp students will create their own vendor cart 攤販車 using different project materials. Students will determine what products to sell, then design and construct their carts and the “fixtures” needed to run their business.

In the afternoons, students will design the menu and products to be sold, create advertising materials, and also have fun making some night market snacks, play some games and tell their story as night market vendors.
