Mandarin Immersion in Taiwan
Let’s experience the language and culture together!
After several years of running our own Mandarin camps and enrichment programs in San Francisco and a successful 2019 (first) summer and winter in Taipei, we continue to provide Mandarin Immersion and Cultural Exchange programs each year.
After a tumultuous pandemic period of 3 years, we welcomed many families back to Taiwan in 2023, 2024 and look forward to seeing new and familiar faces in the new school year of 2025-2026.
Objectives
1) Provide a culturally immersive environment for students to learn and practice Mandarin with local children and teachers.
2) Continue to use fun and effective instructional methods to help students learn and practice Mandarin!
Programs
1) Establish short-term programs with elementary schools in the greater Taipei area that allow foreign students to attend classes with local students.
2) Collaborate with local schools and activity providers in the greater Taipei area to offer camp programs.
Providers
1) Similar learning framework and method as that of Sky Kids (i.e. project-based, progressive, and interactive learning).
2) Local schools with quality programs in the greater Taipei area (excluding international schools).
Local Support
1) Our families will have access to local customer support re: travel, food, living, and/or local activity inquiries.
2) Students that are 9 or older can request our homestay add-on package. Our host families are reviewed and selected by us, just like in San Francisco (N.B. Parents cannot stay with host families but visits can be arranged.)
Spring Summer 2026 Schedule
All in-school and camps are weekly, full day programs (unless otherwise specified). You can select one week or multiple weeks across different options. You can also opt to change across options or to different weeks in the summer (if there is a fee difference, the amount will be additionally charged or refunded).

IN-SCHOOL SCHEDULE
These weekly programs are in-class experiences with local students who attend the school during the school year. For weeks not listed, please let us know your need and we may be able to customize accordingly.

[NEW] Amore Montessori: This school will also host its own weekly summer camp from July 13-August 14.
Primarily for its own students but for Summer 2026 there will be a few spots each week for Sky Kids students. Great way to have an in-school experience during the summer, when almost all schools are are on break.
[NEW] Ananda Montessori: This school will allow short term visits for select weeks from March to May. Please check their page here.
CAMP SCHEDULE

CIO Maker AM + Nono Mandarin PM is bundled as one full-day (Jun 8-12, Jun 15-19). For those wanting to book half day AM or PM, this option is available but priority is given to those who register for full day. Half day option does NOT include lunch.
CIO Maker Full Day runs weekly from Jun 22 - Aug 7
Petite Mode Studio in Taipei is primarily at Zhongyi Street (Tianmu) and for select weeks will also hold camp at Tatung University and in other TW locations (e.g Hsinchu, Tainan, Taichung). Camps run from Jun 8 - Aug 28.
[NEW] Amore Montessori will hold summer camps from July 13-August 14 on a weekly basis.
[NEW] Ananda Montessori: This school will allow short term visits during their summer program: Jun 22-Aug 28.
